| We have decided to see the world. We want to journey from Washington to Maine via the end of the world, aka Tierra del Fuego. Since we are totally and absolutely broke, we are building a gypsy caravan from scratch and hitching our poor, unsuspecting pony to it and setting off on an adventure. We don't know where we will actually go or how long it will take to get there, but it will take years and years. This is a crazy quest so we thought we might try help our fellow man as we tootle along at 3 miles per hour. The plan: We will be collecting money for various charities. All the money will go to the charity. We don't want any of it. That would make paying taxes too difficult. We just intend to link to a different charity every month and encourage people to donate. How will we survive? Who knows. We are going to sell advertizing on the caravan, paint little oils along the way, make post cards and t-shirts to sell, and pray for sponsors and perhaps get a dollar or two from you just because you feel like helping us follow our dream. You can also join us for a while at a fair price. We will be adding a wish list because there are a few things we are going to need and you might just be the person to sponsor us with the item. Flexible solar panels, for example, with your company name and logo painted along the roof. |
